Scholarship

The Friends of ACME Scholarship Program is designed to assist young students of the recording sciences as well as gifted young musicians with a chance to utilize a commercial recording studio. The recipients are awarded a block of ten hours of studio time to use as they wish - either producing a project or recording a showcase of their musical skills. This award is given annually in a number of different categories.


  • The Marshall James Henderson Memorial Scholarship for singer/songwriter

  • The John Cianfoni Memorial Scholarship for excellence in composing and arranging

  • The Michael Archer Memorial Scholarship for innovative live performer

  • The Mark Manetta Memorial Scholarship for outstanding guitarist

  • The William Coffey Memorial Scholarship for audio recording and production

Candidates are selected by a panel composed of Rochester area educators and musicians. Winners will be posted on this site annually as awards are made.
